The National Auto Sport Association (NASA) is pleased to announce that the 2017 NASA Western States Championships presented by Toyo Tires will take place at the challenging Northern California circuit, Thunderhill Raceway Park on October 5-8, 2017. NASA competitors from all over the western half of the country will converge on this competitor favorite situated in Willows, California, to challenge for top step on the podium to claim a NASA Championship.
Turning our attention toward the East, the 2017 NASA Eastern States Championships presented by Toyo Tires will move to the fantastic Sebring International Raceway Circuit. The historic circuit located in beautiful Sebring, Florida has played host to many of the world’s greatest motor races and on October 19 through 22, NASA competitors will battle it out to see who earns their place in NASA history.
“We are really excited about the 2017 Championship schedule,” said Jeremy Croiset, NASA Director of Business Development. “These two tracks will provide NASA competitors with a challenging backdrop to decide who reigns supreme in 2017! Ideally situated to provide the best weather possible for the events, we expect full fields of NASA competitors at our two marque events.”
2017 will mark the 26th anniversary for NASA and the 12th anniversary for our NASA Championship events. We expect to welcome over 600 competitors to our Championship events in 2017 providing competitors with the same fantastic benefits they have come to expect from the event. From the famous trackside gatherings and wonderfully lucrative contingency programs to the extremely competitive racing, the NASA Championships has truly become “the” place to race.
